The Competition Tribunal has unconditionally approved the large merger whereby Units on Jorissen (Pty) Ltd (“UoJ”) intends to acquire an undivided share in the student accommodation property letting enterprise known as “Units on Jorissen” and the letting enterprise carried out upon it (the “target property”) from Varsity Stay 2 (Pty) Ltd (“Varsity Stay”).

The Competition Tribunal has unconditionally approved the large merger whereby Units on Jorissen (Pty) Ltd (“UoJ”) intends to acquire an undivided share in the student accommodation property letting enterprise known as “Units on Jorissen” and the letting enterprise carried out upon it (the “target property”) from Varsity Stay 2 (Pty) Ltd (“Varsity Stay”).
UoJ is a property investment company. The acquiring group has investments in student accommodation. The target property is a newly built student accommodation development.
