The Competition Tribunal has unconditionally approved a transaction that will see the Super Group Dealerships, a division of Super Group Trading (Pty) Ltd, acquire the motor dealership business of Stucky Motors Multi-Franchise (Pty) Ltd, trading as Chery Omoda & Jaecoo, in Mbombela (the target dealership). Following the transaction, the Super Group Dealerships will assume sole control of the target dealership.

It also provides aftermarket services nationwide. Relevant to the transaction are the group’s Foton, Jaguar Land Rover and Jetour dealerships, all of which operate from premises in Mbombela, in the Mpumalanga province.
The target business operates a single dealership in Mbombela, where it sells new and used passenger vehicles under the Chery, Omoda and Jaecoo brands. In addition to vehicle sales, the dealership supplies parts and accessories. It also offers vehicle financing and aftermarket services.
