The Tribunal has unconditionally approved the proposed merger in terms of which Capital Propfund (Pty) Ltd intends to acquire the immoveable property known as Erf 137 Longmeadow (“the target property”).
 
The acquiring group is a real estate company specialising in logistics and retail properties. It owns a portfolio of immoveable properties and rental enterprises across South Africa in the logistical, industrial, retail and office sectors.
 
The target property is a large light industrial property located in Modderfontein, in Gauteng.
 

 
The Tribunal has unconditionally approved the large merger whereby Hudaco Trading (Pty) Ltd (“Hudaco Trading”) intends to acquire the trading assets and trading liabilities of Brigit Fire (Pty) Ltd, Brigit Systems (Pty) Ltd and Porta Gas (Pty) Ltd (collectively, the “primary target businesses”).
 
The Hudaco Group is active in the importation and distribution of high-quality branded industrial, automotive and electronic consumable products.
 
The primary target businesses provide fire detection, fire suppression and fire prevention products and services. The products are primarily focused on the security and safety disciplines, specifically required for commercial and industrial systems.
